2026 Awards & Finalists
Winner: Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award
We were over the moon to receive another Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2026. The award recognises businesses that consistently receive great traveller reviews, placing winners among the top 10% of listings on Tripadvisor. We have now received the award five times: 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Large amounts of chocolate cake were eaten as part of the celebrations!
We are incredibly grateful to our past travellers for sharing their experience online. Their honest feedback and support keep us doing what we love and constantly reminds us that the care we put into our tours truly matters.

Excellence in Customer Experience
This category celebrates businesses that have achieved success by providing excellent and sustained customer experience. It acknowledges the hard work and effort put in by a business to build a loyal customer base by taking steps to continuously improve their customer service delivery.
This was a proud moment for the whole team – a testament to the way we look after travellers before, during and after their time here.

The People’s Choice category in the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards is a unique and exciting way to recognise businesses that have achieved success based on the opinions of those that matter most to them – their community.
Being named a finalist was especially meaningful because it reflected the public support of MoaTrek and the work our team does.

Three years in a row! Receiving the award again in 2025 made it a hat-trick of Travellers’ Choice wins and was a lovely result of the kind words our travellers continued to share.

With borders reopened and international travellers returning to New Zealand, receiving this award in 2023 felt particularly special. It was wonderful to have travellers exploring the country with us again and heartwarming to know just how many had such an excellent time travelling with us.
