Our overall view of the tour was that it was excellent and we were very happy with the service provided. The selected hotels (especially the one in Wellington) were totally adequate and well located. Our guide explained that it may not be possible to fly back to Queenstown from Milford Sound due to weather conditions, however on the day the flight was possible and the flight was the highlight of the tour. We also enjoyed our stay in Queenstown very much, it being a very vibrant and exciting city.

We had a wonderful holiday and the itinerary was excellent for first-time visitors to New Zealand. The range of organised activities worked very well especially as they included some that we would not of known about or been able to do had we been travelling alone. The optional activities were also good as they made it possible to tailor the tour to suit individual interests. The accommodation was mostly fine. We generally made our own arrangements for meals but had help from Chris our driver/guide. The group size that we started with (15) turned out to be ideal as we bonded perfectly and this was a key part or our enjoyment of this special holiday.
Our guide Chris Williams, was excellent and contributed hugely to the pleasure and success of the tour. We learned so much about New Zealand from Chris.
All the included trips were excellent and the lunch we had at Rotorua, wine tasting and the farm homestead were outstanding.
The cruise on Milford Sound and the scenic flight back down to Queenstown was an experience we will never forget and a fantastic way to spend my birthday.
Andre Booth was a very knowledgeable guide and a very good driver. He had a very easy pleasant manner and dealt with everyone as an individual and went out of his way to please all. Nothing was too much trouble and he organised get togethers on several occasions throughout the tour. He took us to so many interesting places and shared his knowledge with us which made the trip.

MoaTrek is an excellent way to see New Zealand from East to West on both North island and South. The small group experience made our vacation more enjoyable. Our guide Andrew was very knowledgeable and was fun to be with. High marks. What an amazing country. A bucket list trip for any nature lover.
Moatrek provides its customers with the opportunity to experience the "real" New Zealand. Travelling around in the small bus with a small group enabled us to feel less of a tourist than would have been the case in a big 40+ passenger coach. The small group made it possible to eat in interesting restaurants which would not have been possible with a larger group.
We had a marvelous time on our tour! This was the perfect way to see the sights of New Zealand and we made a lot of great new friends along the way. We loved having such a knowledgeable guide and not having to worry about getting around on our own. I don't think I could pick a favorite activity, since everything we did was really fun! We enjoyed the hosted lunches a lot, and the flight from Millford Sound was really spectacular! I really enjoyed all the hikes we did, too. MoaTrek made everything so easy! Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!! We loved every minute!

This was to be 'a trip of a lifetime' and has surpassed all our expectations. We have enjoyed every minute seeing fantastic and varied countryside. Our Kiwi guide has been an excellent, knowledgeable guide with amusing anecdotes. Always willing to go out of his way to show us extra places not necessarily on the itinerary. We can’t sing his praises enough and would definitely recommend the trip to others. Thanks for an amazing time.

The first time we have every undertaken this type of holiday. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. We could never have seen so much of New Zealand or learnt about the history without the knowledge of our guide, Matt. We quickly realised our choice of a small party tour was right. You need to see one coach of 40 passengers to know our small group of friendly travelers was the way to go. Well done MoaTrek!
We loved our guided tour to New Zealand with Moatrek. We saw so much in our short 2 and a half weeks of both islands and our guide was the BEST! We are already recommending Moatrek to friends that are thinking of coming your way! THANK YOU! Also Graeme Was the BEST ! He is very knowledgable about everything, history, geology, agriculture and so, so, so much more. We really enjoyed him!

I had always wanted to visit New Zealand and liked the idea of a small group itinerary showing me the highlights. What MoaTrek and Em (Marylin our guide) provided was a perfect holiday. Thank you for a memorable trip
