This was to be 'a trip of a lifetime' and has surpassed all our expectations. We have enjoyed every minute seeing fantastic and varied countryside. Our Kiwi guide has been an excellent, knowledgeable guide with amusing anecdotes. Always willing to go out of his way to show us extra places not necessarily on the itinerary. We can’t sing his praises enough and would definitely recommend the trip to others. Thanks for an amazing time.

We loved our guided tour to New Zealand with Moatrek. We saw so much in our short 2 and a half weeks of both islands and our guide was the BEST! We are already recommending Moatrek to friends that are thinking of coming your way! THANK YOU! Also Graeme Was the BEST ! He is very knowledgable about everything, history, geology, agriculture and so, so, so much more. We really enjoyed him!

The first time we have every undertaken this type of holiday. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. We could never have seen so much of New Zealand or learnt about the history without the knowledge of our guide, Matt. We quickly realised our choice of a small party tour was right. You need to see one coach of 40 passengers to know our small group of friendly travelers was the way to go. Well done MoaTrek!

I had always wanted to visit New Zealand and liked the idea of a small group itinerary showing me the highlights. What MoaTrek and Em (Marylin our guide) provided was a perfect holiday. Thank you for a memorable trip

Thank you MoaTrek for providing us with such a memorable experience. My husband and I consider ourselves to be experienced travellers who have had the good fortune to see many beautiful and interesting places and meet remarkable people over the years while traveling. Without a doubt, our overall experience with MoaTrek has to rank at the top of our all-time favourite list.

We have had a fantastic tour. The diversity of the country has been astonishing from the beautiful beaches to the incredible mountains of the south. The tour has been brilliantly led by Matt whose knowledge of New Zealand above the ground (and below!) has been outstanding. How he remembers the Maori names and translations is unbelievable. His sense of humuor has set the pattern for a very happy time. We would certainly recommend MoaTrek to anyone, The New Zealand leg of lamb will take on a whole new meaning when we get home!

Our Kiwi guide was Matt and I am not sure that I can find enough words in my vocabulary to praise him and the way he conducted the tour. His extensive knowledge, expertise, sense of humour, kindness, driving ability and care in the way he looked after us was five star. He went out of his way every day to try and accommodate everyone's needs. For me the highlights of the trip were the catamaran cruise, the Milford Sound plane ride, the kayaks and the visits to the homes for lunch. The hotel choices were great.

My experience with MoaTrek was beyond expectations. From initial planning to the final day of the tour everything was seamless and a memorable experience. MoaTrek staff were friendly, knowledgeable and supportive and it is clear this is a family run business with an emphasis on ensuring the customer gets the best possible experience from their tour. The small group approach is a bonus, especially for anyone travelling on their own!

Moa Trek provided a wonderful experience. Our Kiwi guide provided lots of "local" information and history. The two lunches we had (one at a home and one at a farm) were unforgettable.

This has been a wonderful and unforgettable tour. Our Kiwi guide always had an answer to every random question sent his way and he has always ensured that some sheep are in the foreground of every scenic picture opportunity – to give it that genuine New Zealand feeling. In all seriousness though it has been great. Going with a small group has allowed us to see places off the beaten track, and given us a taste of real New Zealand. This is a trip I will never forget.
