MoaTrek is a family owned business and our New Zealand-based team is here to help so please get in touch with any questions about your trip. These terms and conditions apply for new bookings from 1 April 2021 and form part of our general booking terms and conditions.

Please note: All MoaTrek travellers are required to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to join our tours. 
The NZ Government requires anyone who tests positive for Covid-19 to isolate for 7 days.

Covid-19 and changing your tour date

If Covid-19 related government travel restrictions in either New Zealand or your home country force you to change your tour date you can transfer your deposit free of charge to another tour date of your choice.

Non Covid-19 related changes

If you need to cancel or change your booking for any non-Covid-19 related reason, our standard terms and conditions apply

Covid-19 safety

While the borders were closed we continued to operate our small group tours taking Kiwis to the far corners of our own country. Over this time our guides and operation team developed and honed industry leading Covid-19 safe travel procedures. We are "Covid Clean Approved" as per New Zealand government standards.

Full support while you’re in New Zealand

When you’re here in New Zealand our staff is fully available seven days a week to help and support you in the event of any circumstances which could affect your tour or your return to your home country. This includes our Kiwi Guides, who will assist you on tour and our office team who can help with logistics or other arrangements related to your tour booking.

We strongly encourage all guests to purchase appropriate travel insurance.
